City of Hudson Farmers' Market Mission Statement:

The purpose of the farmers' market is to provide city and county residents and visitors with convenient access to high quality locally grown, farm fresh produce sold directly by local farmers, and to provide locals farmers with a direct outlet for their farm produce in the city.

Who We Are

The Hudson Farmers' Market was started in 1997 by Milt Meisner and Norman Posner. We continue to strive to support their founding vision and provide Hudson with fresh local product from family farms, being sold by farmers directly to their ever loyal customers. 

When Milt "retired" we continued to grow and offer a wider variety of products and more vendors each year.  Milt was very proud!  Even though he was no longer "Management" he was diligent in his efforts on behalf of the market and came each week to sell the market coffee to raise money and support the market. 

Milt has passed away and we will miss him terribly, but his spirit lives on in the market he co-founded...Thank you Milt!!

The Market celebrated it 15th season in 2012!  One of the longest running Farmers' Markets in the region. The Hudson Farmers’ Market is governed as a collective. All vendors comprise the Vendor Collective and have a say in how the Market is run.
